Under Korean Patent Act, the Original Power of Attorney signed by the applicant may be submitted at the same time of filing the above application or after filing of the above application with KIPO. However, in case of submitting the Original Power of Attorney after filing the above application with KIPO, the late filing fee of US$ 90.00 will be additionally charged.
Accordingly, in order to avoid the late filing fee charge, when you authorize us, JINSUNG INTERNATIONAL PATENT & LAW FIRM, to file a patent/trademark application in Korea, please send us the Original Power of Attorney signed by the applicant as well.
